The number of temples is proof that this land also had an ancient Vedic culture. Many temples are thousands of years old. These temples are proof that a strict caste system existed since ancient times. There are famous temples in all the panchayats of Lalambloch. Ancient rituals and traditions were also practiced here.

Churches established about 400 years ago are located in various panchayats of Lalam block. The festivals of churches like Bharananganam Church, Kudakkachira Church, Paika Church, etc. are very famous and are celebrated as local festivals. The people residing in Lalam block are only Hindus and Christians. People of both the communities maintain brotherhood and religious harmony.
